As these rainy days will not let us out of the house, we will surely miss pakodas. Here are some easy pakodas recipes for you to enjoy at home.

1.Chicken Pakodas

Ingredients: 1\2 kg boneless chicken strips, 2 tbsp of besan, 2 tbsp of plain flour, chilli powder, salt to taste, 7-8 garlic cloves, 1/6 tsp white pepper powder, 1 tsp garam masala 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 2 tbsp of lemon juice.

Method: 1. Prepare a Marinade by mixing white pepper powder, chilli powder, garlic, salt, garam masala, coriander powder and lemon juice.

  1. Let the chicken marinade of about an hour. Now, dip the chicken strips into the besan-flour batter and deep fry until they turn golden brown.
  2. Serve with Schezwan Sauce or Tomato Ketchup.

2.Fish Pakodas

Ingredients: 2 white fish, 1 beaten egg, 2 tbsp of corn flour, chilli powder, salt to taste.

Procedure:

  1.  Give steam to the fish and cut into Medium Pieces. Now, add the beaten egg, chilli powder and salt.
  1. For the medium consistency of batter add some corn flour. Dip the fish in the batter and fry the pieces until they turn golden brown.

3.Egg Pakodas

Ingredients:

9 hard boiled Eggs, 1 cup Gram flour, 2 finely chopped green chilli, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1/8 tbsp of baking soda, 1/4 tsp of black pepper powder, finely chopped Fresh coriander leaves, Salt to taste.

Procedure:

  1.  Remove the egg from the shells and cut each egg into half. Add some salt and pepper powder on the eggs.
  2. Mix the salt, baking soda, chilli powder, gram flour and chopped coriander leaves in a bowl. Add some water slowly and make the consistency medium of the batter.
  3. Take oil in a frying pan and heat. Dip the egg pieces in the batter and deep fry until they turn Golden brown.
  4. Serve with Tomato Ketchup.

4.Soya Pakodas.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Soya chunks, 1\2 cup besan, Ginger and green chilli paste, salt to taste, 1\2 tsp of sodium bicarbonate, a pinch of turmeric.

Procedure:

  1.  Soak some soya beans and soak them for 1\2 hour and squeeze out the water. Take salt, soda, turmeric, besan and ginger and green chilli paste and mix together, add some water and make a batter of thick consistency.
  2. Take the soya chunks and dip them in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until they turn golden brown.
  3. Serve with Tomato Ketchup.

5.Paneer Pakodas

Ingredients:

1 cup gram flour, 1 tsp Red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric, Salt, 300 gram paneer, 2 tbsp Chaat Masala, Oil for deep frying.

Procedure:-

  1. 1. Make a batter of gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric.
  2. Cut the paneer pieces into small pieces.
  3. Heat some oil in a deep pan for frying.
  4. Sprinkle some chaat masala on the paneer pieces.
  5. Dip the paneer pieces into the batter and deep fry until they turn golden brown.
