While the scorching heat continues to torment us for several months, why not experiment with the flavors of cooled nutritious fruits by smashing them into refreshing homemade thirst-quenchers? Vegan drinks are naturally high in fruit goodness, low in calories, and blended with energetic fruits to help you get through those low-oomph days. So, without further ado, let’s get down to business with the recipes.
[1] Dates and Almond milkshake
Ingredients required
• ½ cup de-seeded and chopped dates
• Chopped dry fruits
• 250 ml almond milk
Method
Blend 1/2 cup dates with 1/2 cup milk in a blender.
Pour the mixture into a glass and garnish with chopped nuts.
[2] Sweet berry and mango blend.
Ingredients required
• Iced water
• 1 chopped mango
• 20 grams of chopped strawberries
• Mint leaves
Method
In a blender, combine all of the ingredients except the mint leaves.
Serve cold, garnished with mint leaves, and enjoy.
[3] Mix fruit basil merge
Ingredients required
• 2 sticks of lemongrass
• 6-7 sprigs of basil
• 50 grams of pomegranate seeds
• 50 grams of watermelon pulp
• 50 grams of orange juice
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon
• Salt as per the taste
Method
Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender.
Without straining the pulp, pour it into a glass.
Chill with ice cubes and enjoy.
[4] Coco-nutty tangy mix
Ingredients required
• 60 ml coconut water
• 100 grams pineapple (peeled and chopped)
• 5-6 sprigs of mint
• Black salt as per the taste
• 2 teaspoons lemon juice
• 5-6 ice cubes
Method
Blend everything together in a blender (keep 3-4 mint sprigs aside for garnishing).
Take a glass, squeeze some lemon juice into it, fill it halfway with ice, and then pour the liquid over the frozen pebbles.
Serve and have fun.
