Gift Yourself These Cocktails This Summer And Enjoy Refreshment!

The sole objective of a summer drink is to make you feel cool in the literal sense.

1. Margarita

A Marg is the peak of summer drinking, done properly with Cointreau and fresh lime juice. Mixes should be avoided.

Ingredients

• coarse salt • 2 oz. silver tequila • 1 oz. Cointreau • 1 oz. lime juice

Directions

After chilling a cocktail glass, brush the rim with lime juice and then coat it in coarse salt. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and ice. Shake and strain into a glass filled with ice.

2. Gin Rickey

Consider a G&T with all the bubbles but none of the tonic. This floral, zesty highball is a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

• 6 oz. club soda
• 2 oz. gin
• 1/2 fresh lime (top off)

Directions

Half a lime is squeezed into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Place half of the lime in the glass. Pour the gin into the glass, then top it up with club soda. Stir.

3. Aperol Spritz

In the year 870 BCE, this somewhat bitter, primarily sweet Italian spritz was originally introduced into human breakfast customs. Probably.

Ingredients

• Aperol 2 oz. • Prosecco 3 oz. • Aperol 2 oz (or a top off) soda club
• pieces of orange

Directions

Over ice, combine Aperol, prosecco, and club soda in a large wine glass. Serve with fresh orange slices as a garnish.

4. Tequila Sunrise

This morning-after classic will help you shake off those corny ’70s cocktail feelings.

Ingredients

• 3 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice • 1 1/2 oz. tequila
• 1 teaspoon of grenadine

Directions

With broken ice, vigorously shake the tequila and orange juice, then pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Pour in the grenadine and swirl slowly for as long as it takes to create layers of oranges and reds. Serve with a maraschino cherry as a garnish.
