INGREDIENTS:

FOR SUGAR SYRUP:

* Sugar, water, and milk.

* Saffron, cardamom seeds, and cardamom powder.

GULAB JAMUN BALLS:

* Grated khoya.

* One tbsp baking soda.

* Maida and milk.

PROCEDURE:

* Take the needed quantity of sugar and water in a drip pan. Stir and boil it until sugar dissolves.

* Add milk and cardamom seeds to the sugar water and boil further for some time and strain it.

* Add cardamom powder and saffron to the strain sugar solution and boil it for a few minutes until it becomes a little sticky.

* For gulab jamun balls, take grated khoya in a medium-sized bowl.

* Add baking soda and maida and combine them properly.

* Add milk and knead all of them together to make a smooth and soft dough.

* Divide dough into equal parts and make smooth surface balls out of it.

* Heat ghee in a pan and deep fry gulab jamuns properly until it becomes golden brown. Make sure to keep the flame medium.

* Cool gulab jamun balls and add them into sugar syrup for a minimum of 30 minutes.

* Your finger-licking gulab jamun is ready to serve.
