A lot of people keep themselves away from the kitchen as they find cooking quite intimidating. However, a few delicious Indian recipes are extremely easy to cook with a handful of ingredients which are probably lying in the pantry and there is no need to run to the grocery store during the lockdown. Also, they come together in no time and you get a chance to surprise your family members.

Masala Khichdi: A quick, easy to make, wholesome and comforting one-pot meal is a staple in every Indian household. Rice, mixed lentils, vegetables you have in the fridge and a few whole spices like cumin, mustard seeds, cinnamon, black pepper and bay leaf make this one-pot meal the most comforting food. To boost your immunity, add turmeric which renders a beautiful yellow colour and chilli powder for the added spice.
