Not everyone has gotten an oven, right? But that doesn’t mean we don’t deserve our cake. So, here is a recipe for a delicious chocolate cake that you can make in your pressure cooker!

INGREDIENTS:

plain flour

baking soda

salt

cocoa powder

butter softened at room temperature

sugar

egg

water

milk

vinegar or lemon juice

vanilla extract

How to Make it:

1. In a bowl, whisk the flour, salt, and baking soda, until fully combined.

2. Put aside until required

3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar with a whisk until it meets up. You needn’t bother with an electric mixer, simply do this progression by hand until the butter and sugar are all around fused

4. Add the egg to this and beat again well until the blend.

5. Now add water and cocoa to this and blend well until the cocoa powder has completely mixed in

6. Add the vinegar or lemon juice and the vanilla, blend once more

7. Add milk and blend tenderly once more

8. Add the flour blend in two folds. Don’t overmix at this stage, simply blend until there is a lump

9. Oil a small 6″ cake skillet with spread and pour the batter in

10. Tap the cake skillet to smoothen it out.

11. Preheat the pressure cooker

12. Place the cake skillet with a potholder into the pressure cooker

13. Close the top and keep the flame at low

14. Cook for around 45-50 minutes until a toothpick into the cake comes all clean. The cake will likewise leave the sides of the dish, which is a decent sign that it’s cooked

15. Drop the cake to a plate

16. Let it cool
