Maas Ka Sula is a popular Rajasthani royal appetizer. Meat that is marinated and then slowly cooked on the fire. This juicy meat is usually made with goat mutton or Lamb meat. If you would love to give a royal start for your dinner, then here’s a perfect recipe for you.
Maas Ka Sula recipe is very easy and should be cooked slow. As it helps enhance the flavor more into the meat and make it tenderly soft and delicious.
Ingredients:
1kg mutton or lamb from the leg.
60gm ghee
60gm onion very thinly sliced
6gm salt
6gm red chili
12gm garlic
12gm of garam masala to be mixed with ½ cup yogurt. Yogurt should be drained overnight in a cotton wrap.
30ml water
3gm raw papaya(optional)
Method:
Completely clean the meat and then, with a wooden hammer, completely flatten the meat.
On the other hand, heat the ghee and fry onions until caramelized and then grind in water.
Mix all the spices and raw papaya with the meat and marinated it for about an hour(more the better)
Take a skewer and insert the meat and then keep it on the preheated barbeque. Continue turning on all sides until golden brown.
Garnish it with a few lemons, and your Maas Ka Sula is all ready to be devoured.
