Ingredients:-

¾ lb. lasagna noodles, 1 tsp. Extra-virgin olive oil (extra for drizzling), 2 lb. ground beef, 4 garlic cloves, 2 tsp dried oregano, Kosher salt, Fresh ground black pepper, 2 jars marinara, 16 oz. Whole milk ricotta, ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan, ¼ cup chopped parsley (extra for garnishing), 1 large egg, 2 lb mozzarella (grated).

Procedure:-

  1. Preheat oven to 375º. According to package directions, cook pasta in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente for less than 2 minutes.
  2. Drain and drizzle a few drops of olive oil; this prevents noodles from sticking together.
  3. Take a large pot over medium heat, and heat oil. Cook ground beef until it’s no longer pink, and break it with a wooden spoon.
  4. After removing from the heat, drain the contents. Then, put the beef back into the skillet and add garlic and oregano. Continue to stir for 1 minute while cooking.
  5. To prepare the dish, begin by seasoning with salt and pepper. Next, add marinara and stir until it is heated throughout. Combine ricotta, ¼ cup Parmesan, parsley, and egg in a separate large mixing bowl. Season this mixture with salt and pepper and set it aside for later use.
  6. To assemble the lasagna, spread a quarter of the meat sauce evenly across the bottom of a large casserole dish. Then, place a single layer of lasagna noodles on the sauce. Add a layer of ricotta mixture to the noodles, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese. Finally, add another layer of meat sauce to complete the layering process.
  7. Repeat layers, topping the last layer of noodles with meat sauce, Parmesan, and mozzarella.
  8. To bake it, set the timer for 15 minutes and cover it with foil during baking.
  9. Now, remove the foil and cook uncovered for 20 minutes at a temperature of up to 400° C.
  10. Garnish with parsley before serving.
