Momos are originating from Tibet and most popular street food in north India. There are lots of various types of momos you can make like chicken, mutton, vegetables, etc. This delicious mouth-watering spicy Momos, you can cook at home. Here we look at the recipe of spicy Momos.
INGREDIENTS:
FOR DOUGH.
* 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
* Salt and baking powder.
FOR FILLING:
* Grated Carrots and cabbage.
* Finely chopped onions.
* Soya sauce, green chilies, black pepper, salt, and oil.
* Vinegar.
PROCESS:
* First step is to take all-purpose flour and add baking powder as well as salt and knead it to a stiff dough with water.
* Heat oil in a pan and add onion and garlic.
* Also add chopped green chilies in a pan.
* Saute it very well until the color of the onion changes a bit.
* Add grated cabbage and carrots and saute on high heat till glossy.
* Add soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
* Mix this filling very well and keep it aside.
* Take the kneaded dough roll the dough thin and cut it into four to five-inch rounds.
* Take around and place some filling in the center.
* Bring edges together and fully cover the filling properly. Twist it to seal and do the same with the remaining dough and filling.
* Your raw spicy Momos are ready, which you steam for about 20 minutes and serve hot with chili sauce or sez wan chutney.
