You can never go wrong with some classic peri-peri fries. They are a great option for snacks, as a side dish, or even for lunch or dinner.

Here is how you can make restaurant-style peri-peri fries at home in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients for peri-peri masala:
1 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 pinch of Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 of Pinch Red chili flakes
Oregano powder to taste
1 teaspoon Coriander seeds powder
1 tablespoon Cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
3 tablespoons Garlic powder

Ingredients For the Fries:
4 large potatoes
Vegetable Oil for deep frying

Step 1
Take a small bowl and mix all the given spices thoroughly. Taste the mixture to check the spice levels.

Peel off the potatoes and boil them in water and a pinch of salt and some oil until they’re halfway boiled.
Step 3
Take the potatoes out and cut them into small pieces of fries. Put some oil in a kadai and let it boil for some time on high flames. Once the oil is warm and ready, lower the flame to medium and add your cut potato fries to it.
Step 4
Let your fries cook until golden brown and take them out. To check if your fries are cooked or not use a fork or toothpick to Pierce into the fries.

Now that the fries are ready at your mixture of peri-peri that you have made before and mix it well until there is a thin layer of the spice all over it.

Serve your fries while they are hot with some tomato ketchup or mayonnaise.
