A chilling winter can never be complete without hot soup. Be it sweet corn, chicken, or tomato, hot soup served fresh in a bowl will always make you feel warm and comfortable and help you get rid of those uncalled winter chills! So, today we are up with the recipe for Tomato Soup.
Ingredients:
1. Butter
2. Onion, finely chopped
3. Garlic
4. Bay leaf/tej patta
5. Tomato, chopped
6. Carrot, chopped
7. Salt
8. Water
9. Sugar
10. Pepper, crushed
11. Cream/malai
How to make the soup
1. Right off the bat, in a Kadai heat 1 tsp spread and saute onion, 2 clove garlic, and 1 bay leaf.
2. Add tomatoes, chopped carrot, and salt.
3. Sauté for a moment or till tomatoes change their colour.
4. Add water, cover, and let it boil for 10 minutes.
5. Boil till tomatoes turn delicate and soft.
6. Now exclude the bay leaf and let it cool
7. Transfer it to a blender and mix it.
8. Now strain the puree so that the mixture turns to be smooth and add water to change the consistency.
9. Get the soup to boil and add sugar, pepper, and salt.
10. Blend well ensuring all the flavours are consolidated well.
11. Turn off the gas and add some fresh cream or malai to it and mix it well.
12. Serve hot in a soup bowl.
