Rabdi is perfect to add on a dessert. A creamy delight that adds on taste to any sweet dish.
Rabdi is a thick and creamy concoction made out of milk, sugar and nuts.
Rabdi Recipe-
Ingredients- 1 ltr Milk (Full Fat), 2 tbsp Sugar, 1 pinch Saffron, 1/4 tsp rosewater.
Instructions-
Step 1: Take a heavy bottom pan and boil the milk.
Step 2: Add 2 tbsp saffron in milk and keep aside.
Step 3: Keep the heat to medium-low and keep stirring the sides of the pan after every 10-13 minutes.
Step 4: Cook the milk for 1-1.5 hours, till the milk is reduced to quarter.
Step 5: Add saffron soaked in the milk, sugar and rose water and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Step 6: Pour the rabdi in a serving bowl. Garnish it with pistachio slivers, almond.
Step 7: You can serve it hot or chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
