Ingredients For Making Chole: 2 cups soaked overnight chickpeas, tomato puree, chopped onions, cloves garlic, coriander powder, cumin powder, chana masala, ginger, onion paste, garam masala, and red chili powder, and salt as necessary.

Ingredients For Making Bhature: All-purpose flour, yogurt, wheat flour, refined oil as required, chopped coriander leaves for garnishing, and salt.

Procedure –

To prepare chole, pressure cook the soaked chickpeas over high heat with salt to taste and one tea bag, or place 2 to 3 tea leaves in a cotton towel and simmer the chickpeas for 15 to 20 minutes.

In the next step, heat the oil in a pan over a medium temperature. Sauté the onions till golden brown, then add the garlic, ginger, and onion paste. Cook for a few minutes, or until the raw scent of the ingredients has gone away, before adding the tomato paste.

Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and chana masala once the oil separates. Then, boil this puree for two minutes with chole or chickpeas. Next, cook the chole for a few minutes more after tasting the salt. Then your delicious chole is ready. Finally, chop onions and coriander leaves to garnish the chole.

Make a dough with all-purpose flour or maida and wheat flour for Bhatura. Add salt and oil to taste. Also, whisk in the yogurt and knead the dough with a kitchen towel before allowing it to rise.

Finally, heat a kadhai over high heat; in the meantime, take equal amounts of dough and roll it into large puris; deep-fried the puris till light brown. Finally, serve the wonderful Chole Bhature with chopped onions and lemon, and enjoy the dinner.
