Exercise plays an important role in your overall health and fitness levels. There are plenty of exercises available for different parts of your body. Bicep exercises are very important and most people prefer those exercises. Below are five bicep exercises for men. Among them three are dumbbells, one is a barbell, and the last one is using cables.
1) STANDING CABLE CURL.
Cable curl is the best exercise for the bicep when clubbed with free weight exercises. While dumbbells and barbells place the greatest amount of force, cables keep resistance constant through the entire range of motion.
2) SEATED ALTERNATING DUMBBELL CURL.
Dumbbell curl is the basis for all bicep exercises. To get the most from traditional bicep curl, perform it alternating. Alternating curl will help you to lift more weight than you curl both arms together. And the more weight your biceps curl, the stronger they are going to get.
3) ALTERNATING INCLINE DUMBBELL CURL.
Lie on your back on an incline bench with a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing forward, arms extended and pulled up. Do alternate dumbbell curls in this incline position. This is the best bicep exercise.
4) SEATED ALTERNATING HAMMER CURL.
This exercise will give your biceps as a whole more shape and strength. Sit on the 90-degree bench with dumbbells in each hand, palms facing towards your body, arms extended. Slowly lift one weight and pause. Squeeze your bicep at the top, then slowly reverse the moment to return to start. Repeat on the opposite side.
5) STANDING REVERSE BARBELL CURL.
Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and hold the barbell with both hands. Slowly lift the weight, pause squeeze and relax.
Those were five bicep exercises.
