Nail masks are a new trend altogether. After the whole era of hair masks and face masks. We often forget that our nails don’t just require pretty colours but also care and maintenance just like our hair and skin. We need to prevent them from becoming weak and stained. There are many masks to keep your nails healthy and those that can be prepared at home itself with some ingredients.
If you have dehydrated, discolored and brittle nails are in dire need of some pampering and proper masking. There are a lot of sheet masks available for your nails in the market, but let’s try out some DIY masks that are very helpful for your nails and can do wonders in bringing back their lost charm and health.
Here are a few recipes you can easily try yourself at home-
For stained nails
Mix in a small bowl, 2 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of baking soda and put it on your nails and cover it with foil paper. Keep this for 10 minutes and remove the foil paper and wash it with lukewarm water.
For sparkly nails
Mix in 1/4th cup olive oil, 1/4th cup beer and 1/4th cup apple cider vinegar in a bowl and make a soak for your nails. Place your nails inside the soak, and let them soak for 10 minutes and then rinse them with lukewarm water.
For nourishment
Mix 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of heavy cream and 1 tbsp of banana in a bowl and make a smooth paste that can be applied.
Apply this on your nails and rub it and keep for 10 minutes and then rinse it with lukewarm water.
