Actor Saarrh Kkashyap who is known for his acting chops in TV shows Laut Ao Trisha, Badi Door See Aye Hain, Nagarjuna-Ek Yoddha, Baal Krishna, is a fitness freak to the core. The actor also featured in popular Bollywood movies like Padmaavat, Ship of Theseus, Saat Kadam and is now looking forward to make his OTT debut with the film titled “Tyypes of Love”.

Favourite Exercise:

I like Strength Training coupled with core exercises. If I have to choose, I’ll choose Deadlift

The purpose of exercise for you is:

Exercise keeps me mentally sharp and focused. It’s a great Stressbuster.

Fruit or juices: 

Fruits anytime for the fibre content.

Stairs or lift:

Lift in case of a high-rise building (laughs)

Your best morning routine will comprise of:

Black Coffee and some Vocal exercises followed by some hardcore exercises. It keeps me sane.

Your favourite lockdown exercise:

Surya Namaskar

Yoga Or Weights: 

Weights I prefer, but Yoga is also good for the flexibility routine.

Walking or Jogging:

Fast Walking and Sprints. Jogging is not good for the knees. I prefer either Fast Walking for a long period or Sprints for 30 seconds on and 10 seconds off.

Your take on health supplements:

Natural Food doesn’t contain the necessary quantity of required minerals and vitamins. So a good multivitamin and Fish oil supplement for bone and heart health is a must.

Best way to burn calories:

HIIT cardio mostly includes Rapid Fire Burpees.

Your take on six-pack abs:

Six-pack abs are an absolute Yes. But it must be achieved using natural means and not using any steroids or injections. Steroids are extremely dangerous as we can see so many young people with chiselled body dying due to heart attacks. It is very sad and unfortunate that steroid use is rampant in the entertainment and fitness industry. Natural Physique takes time but it is worth it.

Any personal goals in mind with regards to fitness:

The goal is always about Consistency. It is quite difficult to maintain an exercise routine when I am shooting around the clock. Determination is the key here.

One tip for everyday fitness:

Eating less carbs like sweets, rice and Roti helps. Also just do 1-hour exercise every day. It may be Gym, Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Swimming or Fast Walking.
