Cheat Food:

I will never call it a cheat food because I really work hard from Monday to Saturday. So I will rather call it as ‘rewarding meal’. For me, I earn this food. My favourite cheat food is aloo ka paratha that I make, with home-made butter and honey on top. I also like Gudh wali roti.

Favourite Exercise:

Locomotive movements. I enjoy them as being an actor it frees my body from any kind of tension and stiffness.

Fruit or Juices:

Both. I eat fruits only in the morning while juices can be consumed anytime in the day. I only prefer vegetable juices and not fruit juices

Stairs or Lift:

Both. When I am working it will be stairs. When I am not working, climbing stairs is actually a very good exercise

Your best morning routine will comprise of:

When I have a late call time, I get up late after having my full sleep. I have my warm water. I sit down for Bhastrika Pranayam which is good for the respiratory system. I eat couple of apples, some oats and tea. When I am not able to do my Pranayam at home, I do it on the set, in my make-up room after reading my lines

Your favourite lockdown exercise:

Honestly speaking, I did not work out for a single day during the lockdown. I wanted to give myself rest. But as I said, I did yoga and did not miss my pranayam. I consider reading a very good exercise and I did that a lot. Throughout the lockdown, I maintained my diet well.

Yoga or weights:

I would say Yoga. But I am not against weight-training, as it needs us to stretch a lot before and after weight-training which is tougher to follow.

Walking or jogging:

I like both. Just behind my house is the National Park. So I do walk there. At times, I jog too

Your take on health supplements:

It is a myth that supplements will not give you the naturality. I think supplements in the form of biotin, calcium, multi-vitamin are needed. Sometimes food does not provide you all of that. So in order to strike a balance, supplements are needed

Best way to burn calories:

Every single exercise you do will help you burn calories. The main factor is that you need to do it the right way.

One tip to everyday fitness:

Don’t rely on shortcuts, rather hire a trainer and go through the right process. Don’t burden yourself up and don’t compare your body with others. Observe your own body and decide on the routine for yourself
