Yogasana is an ancient form of exercise and it is extremely beneficial for physical and mental health overall. Lots of yoga experts have recommended different yogasanas. Baba Ramdev is a household name known to all yoga enthusiasts. He is well known for his different Yoga Asanas. Here we look at a few Yogasanas by Baba Ramdev for obesity and weight loss.

1.MAKARASANA.

This asana is best for losing weight. This is ideally done in the morning or after all other Yogasanas.

* Lie flat on your stomach, raise your head and shoulder.

* Let elbows rest on the ground and hold your chin with your palm.

* Raise your chest, both legs should be straight and together.

* Inhale and hold both legs and touch it to hips.

* Maintain this position and release after some time.

2. VAKRASANA.

This asana is best for reducing abdominal fat.

* Sit on the ground with both your legs loosened up with spine erect.

* Bend your right leg at the knee, place your right palm behind your back.

* Exhale and hold ankle firmly with your left hand.

* Make a twist at the waist and look over the right shoulder.

* Repeat it on the other side.

3. SARVANGASANA.

This is also considered the best Yogasana by Baba Ramdev for weight loss.

* Lie on your back with hands on either side and palm facing down.

* Raise legs and support them with your hands behind.

* Keep legs straight and breathe normally.

* Breathe normally, keep feet together and relax after some time.

All above as well as a few other Yogasanas such as Shirshasana, Halasana, Gomukhasana, etc. are recommended by Baba Ramdev for obesity and weight loss.
