Formal dining rooms are great additions to a home, but let’s face it, the majority of eating nowadays takes place in the kitchen. Get inspired by these gorgeous and effective eat-in kitchen designs, whether you have a small kitchen with a lean breakfast bar or a large area with a magnificent dining display.
Open Layout
In this small, open-plan kitchen, the designer opted for a long, rectangular dining table instead of a kitchen island. In this case, a rustic dining hutch fills the void left by the absence of an island.
Modern Look
A bold art piece steals the show in this kitchen created by Jessica Helgerson of Jessica Helgerson Interior Design. The abstract sculpture, which hangs above the dining table, separates the table from the rest of the kitchen, adding much-needed depth to the area.
Choose Functional Furniture
Aniko Levai of Place of My Taste built this small-space kitchen to show that you don’t have to give up your kitchen island to have an eat-in kitchen. A small island is in the centre of the kitchen, while a circular dining table sits off to the side, on a round jute rug.
