Plastic bottle planters:
Supplies needed:
Empty Plastic bottle
Googly eyes
Preferred decorations like recycled buttons
Sandpaper
Tape
Hot glue
Paints for plastic
Permanent marker
Knife and Scissors
Plant and Soil
Instructions:
Step 1: Finding a plastic bottle lying around in your home is the easiest part of the process!
Step 2: Think about what design you want to make, you could try to make a woodland animal like a fox or a pig with a bottle cap as a piggy nose or a dinosaur too!
Step 3: Map out the shape that you want with a maker.
Step 4: Use the utility knife to make a hole and then roughly cut around the markings. Once the top is off you can clean up the rough edges.
Step 5: Use the sandpaper to roughen up the plants so that the paint sticks. Paint with acrylic paint and then you could use a hairdryer to dry the paints.
Step 6: Stick the accessories of your choice to the bottle using hot glue. You can draw in the rest of the details like the mouth!
Step 7: Add the soil and plant.
