Which is your favourite corner in your house?

My comfy sofa near the window with a view into the trees outside. The morning light pours in or it is shaded in the afternoons. It’s a peaceful place. Love sitting there with a cup of coffee or green tea.

What should your dream house look like?

A farmhouse surrounded by jungle near a beach. All wood and full of colours. These old wooden doors, beds with carvings, carved chests. Outdoor shower with stones and plants.

What colour combination would you like to paint your house?

My current home has a grey and very light turquoise theme that I still love.

Which celebrity house would you want to be yours?

Anyone who owns what I described as my dream home(laughs)

Who will be the first guest that you would call after designing your dream house?

My family.

What should your window view look like?

Always green.

Which part of your house you don’t like?

I wish for more space but that’s Mumbai for you.

What will be your priceless contribution to the decor?

Just my style I guess… before we bought this home, I transformed every rented place we were in, to the point of losing the home as it got very saleable. I have a knack for colors and designs.

If you have to stick posters in your house, what posters will you stick?

I have a poster from Prague hanging on one wall as I went there for shooting. It would have to be something associated with me or Akhil’s life. Like the few selected pictures we have.

Any idea for home decor that you ever got after watching anything? (Can be a movie, ad, poster, web series, friend’s house etc)

The outdoor shower I saw I think on TV and it is such a great idea for our climate here…

Wallpaper or paint?

Paint and even tiles
