Maleeka R Ghai the talented actress who is presently seen in the Star Plus show Udti Ka Naam Rajjo has a beautiful sense of decor. She gets inspired by new trends and keeps herself updated on the best of designs and colours for her house.

Which is your favourite corner in your house?
In the living area, I have a beautiful sitting place with colourful cushions, posters, indoor plants etc. I love to sit in this corner every morning with my cup of tea. Sunlight directly hits this area, and I enjoy this moment.
What should your dream house look like?
I would like to have my dream house in the mid of Nature, where there is the woods, open view sky, sea, birds and animals. If I can, I would like to take a house above the sea.
What colour combination would you like to paint your house?
I like pastel bright colours. Such colours give out positive energy.
Which celebrity house would you want to be yours?
I would opt not to have anyone’s house as mine. I want to create my own paradise. But recently, I saw Malaika’s house in her show. It was beautiful.
Who will be the first guest that you would call after designing your dream house?
I would like to invite my mom. She stays in her hometown, Delhi.
What should your window view look like?
Currently, in my house, I have a beautiful view of the mountains from my balcony. Otherwise, I would like to have a beachside view.
Which part of your house you don’t like?
There is a small balcony near the kitchen which is used as the store room. I don’t like this clumsy part of my house.
What will be your priceless contribution to the decor?
I am very fond of antics. I would want a few homemade things in my house. What actually makes your decor beautiful is the vibes, and vibrations.
If you have to stick posters in your house, what posters will you stick?
Generally, I like the positive and inspiring quotes. I am fond of old cinema, so I might opt for Mother India poster. It is a beautiful and meaningful poster. It is all about woman’s empowerment and speaks of a mother’s sacrifice.
Any idea for home decor that you ever got after watching anything? (Can be a movie, ad, poster, web series, friend’s house etc)
I keep surfing many home decor sites and take a lot of ideas from there. I keep myself updated on the new trends in decor.

Paint for sure.
