Young and talented beauty Kangan Baruah Nangia, who is currently entertaining the masses as Gargi in Sony Sab’s show Sab Satrangi, is in love with her house. The actress got in a candid chat with IWMBuzz.com for our home décor segment and revealed her favourite corner in the house, dream house, and more.
Which is your favourite corner in your house?
My favourite corner in my house is actually my bedroom in my family home in Assam, where I have my window which opens to a terrace. And up until a few years ago, we didn’t need AC in Assam so I would keep the window open and have a fresh breeze coming in. I also loved to climb into the terrace through my window.
What should your dream house look like?
I would love to have a lot of greenery in my dream house because I’ve been brought up around a lot of greenery. I would also love to have wooden furniture and a lot of neutral colours.
What colour combination would you like to paint your house?
I love ivory white and I could have one statement wall with a different colour depending on the furniture I pick.
Which celebrity house would you want to be yours?
I recently saw Abhay Deol’s glass house in Goa and fell in love with it.
Who will be the first guest that you would call after designing your dream house?
I would invite my Dadi because she loves designing and interiors and I feel her decorating and spending time at my home would bring in a lot of positive energy.
What should your window view look like?
I would love a view with palm trees and I would consider myself even luckier if it opened to an ocean view.
Which part of your house you don’t like?
There are no parts of my house that I dislike.
