I mean we can’t really blame Emma for it, who didn’t have a crush on young Leo? The star made an entry in Hollywood and instantly stole everyone’s hearts with her amazing performance and charismatic personality.
At the 89th Annual Academy Awards of the year 2017, Emma won the Oscar for Best Actress for her outstanding work in the movie La La Land which was presented to her by Leonardo DiCaprio.
After receiving the award, Emma was asked about what was going on in her mind and the actress answered saying Leonardo DiCaprio, she further said that’s what was going through her mind.
Emma is a huge fan of Leo and has also watched his movie Titanic seven and a half times that too in theatres, she also had a picture of Leo in her bedroom for her 12th birthday which was signed by him.
Emma admitted to having a huge crush on the Revenant star and she finds it really weird that Leo is a real person. While standing next to Leo and receiving an Award from him felt unreal to Emma and reminded her of her 12 years old self. Emma also further added that her crush comes from a good place, she thinks of Leo as a great actor and loves watching him on screen. Emma truly loves Leonardo for his stunning acting, especially in the movie Titanic.
Emma said that winning an Oscar was huge for her but receiving it from Leo made it even more special.
