** DON’T ALLOW IT TO BECOME PERVASIVE.
Failure and setbacks are part and parcel of life and you should be contained to a specific area of failure, not spill over into other areas.
** DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY.
Don’t take your failure personally, as due to this our self-esteem takes a beating and there are chances of despair and depression. If don’t take it personally, this tough phase will play a key role in building resilience.
** KEEP IN MIND THAT IT’S NOT PERMANENT.
Whatever setbacks or failures in your life, they are not permanent and every crisis of the world has ended. Though you feel your challenge is difficult, there will be always light at the end of the tunnel.
** PATIENCE.
Patience is the key to dealing with all sorts of failures and setbacks. Most things may require a longer time than we like. That is life and you should take it easy and allow the results to happen.
** DEVELOP PERSEVERANCE.
The ability to continue your effort is very important and you need to develop perseverance.
** FIND PURPOSE.
This P is very important in all other Ps of dealing with setbacks and failure. Without a purpose, it becomes easy to give up when going gets tough. The purpose is fuel for all kinds of motivation.
