Fans of BTS, gather! Did you know that Kim Nam-Joon nicknamed The Rap Monster (RM), the frontman of the South Korean band BTS, is also a voracious reader? He’s shared his reading recommendations with us, and we’ve got them! Everyone, but especially BTS fans, should check out the book list, which is chock-full of classic must-reads and spans genres. The following items are on the list:

1. Jojo Moyes’ ‘Me Before You’

4.Haruki Murakami’s short story “1Q84”

The reader and protagonist explore a parallel reality in 1Q84 where things aren’t as they should be in a universe that blends fiction and fantasy.

5. Han Kang’s ‘Human Acts’

The novel is set in Gwangju, South Korea, and tackles issues of brutality, humanism, censorship, and life following the Gwangju Uprising. Deborah Smith translated the novel, which was originally published in Japanese.
