When it comes to an active kid, there is a fine line between being a naturally active kid and a kid who is being affected or experiencing a hyperactivity disorder. This disorder is called attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This type of child tries to seek attention in the early stage of development since they come across many realistic and unrealistic things in their life. ADHD is often not recognised until and unless the kid has started to grow a little and is expressing his views to others in life.

There are many signs of ADHD that include behavioural problems such as difficulty in concentrating or following instructions. The inability to control inappropriate behaviour such as running and making loud noises and bothering people around and also trying to interrupt other people while they’re talking, and even displaying frustration.

These kids cannot be criticised or punished for displaying such behaviour. If parents, teachers or other caretakers react or even overreact at the child they can turn out to be even more hyper.

You can try to control this behaviour. All you need is to distract them with things and activities that they love doing, and help the, channel their energies.

If your kid shows interest in any sporting activity they should be allowed to part-take in a sport. Surprise them with different sport item gifts and also introduce new sports to them and encourage them to try the same.

2. Dance, acting or music classes

If your child is a creative genius, then they should find their interests in spheres such as arts, dance, acting or music. You must take a note of it make sure you encourage them in the desired direction. Put them into classes and always support them to grow in that particular art form.

3. Arts and crafts

Art and craft is a great therapy that your kids can try involving themselves to avoid the hyperactive behaviour and to involve in creating art.

4. Camping and outdoor activities

Camping and outdoor activities are great for kids. It helps them control their hyperactive behaviour. Dealing with life safety and also trying out new things can be fun for them.
