Nayeon recently took a photoshoot for Elle Korea, exhibiting her vibrant visuals in beautiful clothing and hair bows! She also shot a behind-the-scenes video for TWICE’s official YouTube channel, in which she confessed that she had nearly never applied eye makeup in all of her years as a TWICE member, which is a key focus point for her photoshoot with Elle Korea!
Let’s start by defining the Korean beauty standard. Female beauty standards emphasize a slim, hourglass body, a tiny face, a v-shaped jaw, straight eyebrows, perfect complexion, and a height of 165cm (5’4″) or more. They also follow the golden ratio of 1:8, which states that your overall height should equal eight times your head. Heart-shaped lips and tiny noses are also preferred by the beauty standard. Im Na-yeon (born September 22, 1995) is a South Korean singer who goes by the mononym Nayeon. She became a vocalist in the South Korean girl group Twice created by JYP Entertainment after appearing on the reality survival television show Sixteen in 2015. She is Twice’s eldest member.
