What Makes Jackson Yew an Elite Coach?

Learn more about Jackson Yew

The first step to becoming an elite coach is to motivate your students. People come for coaching classes because they need a direction that leads them to success. But what about the coach? How can the coach ensure that his students are learning the right thing?

According to Jackson Yew, the co-founder of the multi-million-dollar company Funnel Duo Media, a coach must speak from his experiences in life. He should help his students relate to the difficulties he had faced with issues they go through daily. It’s this connection that makes a world of difference for the students.

Jackson’s coaching experience

Jackson witnessed a lot of hardships in life. From being deprived of toys as a child to shutting down his ship salvaging company due to mismanagement in internal affairs and financial losses, Jackson already had a world of experience before he reached thirty.

He believes that these events play a crucial role when he coaches students. “When I reflect on my past, I highlight the ways I made a comeback. I think coaching should focus on how to overcome problems instead of concentrating on the problems themselves.”

Initially, Jackson would only coach 50 to 60 students. He would rent a room that could accommodate small groups and share his experiences of becoming an entrepreneur. But it wasn’t just a lecture about his failures and achievements. His style focused on how students could become better coaches while motivating them to overcome their hardships.

Jackson said in an interview, “Everyone’s life problems aren’t the same. And there’s no one-size-fits-all solution also. You have to judge each situation on its merits. When I talk to my students, I try to find why the problem is bothering them. Honestly, everyone has problems. But their effects differ from person to person. My job is to find out how and why the problems affect my students before coming up with a solution. Remember, I’m not a psychiatrist or a psychologist. My coaching revolves around motivating my students. If someone doesn’t want to share his problems, it’s fine by me, as long as you do well in life.”

Guiding his students

Apart from motivating students, Jackson also offers innovative learning techniques that students can remember easily. He teaches about high-income online skills to make sure his students have the choice of becoming elite coaches or successful entrepreneurs in the future.

Jackson says, “My role as a coach is to guide my students to glory. I feel proud to have already coached more than 31,000 students and 300 companies. One of the things I notice about students is they have various thoughts about their careers. Sometimes they want to move from one industry to another. I’m in no position to stop them. My job is to lead them toward the path that will bring them the most success.

Coaching students to secure their future is a risky job. But it is something that Jackson is now a master at. He has sellout auditoriums packed with students who want to become successful by tackling the challenges that come their way.
