Miss Bhattacharjee was born in Assam in a Bengali family back in 1985. She lives with her younger brother and her mother in Gurugram. She studies at Godhula Brown Memorial English High School in Sivasagar, Assam, and completed her higher studies at the National Institute of Fashion and Technology in New Delhi. Later, she became a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and was also seen in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa.
Before, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was romantically linked with Sachin Jigar Pawar and also with her Saathiya co-star Vishal Singh, as per media reports.
