Jammu & Kashmir tourism has been dubbed “paradise” so many times that it feels like the highest accolade possible. However, there’s something vague about it that doesn’t do this part of the country justice. What is paradise in Jammu & Kashmir? The scenery is made up of alpine meadows, crystal clear lakes, autumn hues of the trees, boathouses, gondolas, apple orchards, and everything else.

The area is dotted with a glacier, woods, and snow-capped mountains. Kishansar, Vishansar, and Gadsar, Kashmir’s three Great Lakes, are all accessible from here. Two prominent adventurous hobbies are camping and trout fishing. Sonmarg is also the starting point for a pilgrimage to Amarnath Cave, a well-known Hindu sanctuary.

The scenic valley is bordered by snow-capped mountains, linden, walnut, and willow-covered meadows, and the raging KishanGanga river.
Srinagar
Srinagar tops the list because it is a popular honeymoon location as well as one of the most well-known tourist sites in Jammu & Kashmir. Because of its many Mughal Gardens, religious and historical monuments, and Dal and Nageen Lakes, Srinagar is known as the “Land of Gardens and Lakes.” One of the numerous things that will astound you is the floating vegetable market on Dal Lake. Srinagar also has Asia’s most beautiful tulip gardens.

Jahangir created the stone basin and arcade surrounding it, while Shah Jahan erected the lovely garden next to it. The spring is the Jhelum River’s major source. In front of this spring, there is also a Mughal Garden.
Vaishno Devi
Vaishno Devi, a famous Hindu pilgrimage location in India, should not be missed by those who are spiritually oriented. The temple is located in Jammu’s Trikuta Hills.
