Travel by plane, car, or boat – What do you like?

I prefer traveling by air or train as I am not a road trip kind of person. The max I can travel by road is to Mahabaleshwar.

Your most memorable travel was:

I had got to a place ahead of Pune for my 40th birthday with my kids and hubby. We had a blast. Surprisingly in the month of May, it was raining so we enjoyed the cool breeze amidst mountains and dams. We did some adventures as a family by hiking mountains and doing the longest zip line in Southeast Asia. We bonded together as a family and stood by each other like a pillar of strength hooting and cheering when each one of us embarked on the zip line. So this was by far the most adventurous, fun, and memorable travel experience.

Vacation spot you long to go:

I am craving to go to Kashmir and my darling friend Ankita Lokhande has promised me we will visit the destination with our moms in Feb 2023. So I’m really looking forward to that trip.

Your favorite travel buddy:

I love traveling with my kids and hubby as we are a mad, crazy, and fun 4G clan (4G stands for 4 Gulabanis)

Styled up or Casual during travel:

I prefer wearing my own clothes at all times as it reduces the pressure of living up to deliverables, especially when you are on a holiday

Land, Hills or Beaches – your preferred choice:

Given a choice, I would migrate to the mountains. Mera dil kahi dur, pahaado mein kho gaya

Do you prefer solo travel or with someone else?

Honestly, I would love to make a solo trip but I don’t think my husband would approve. Guess that’s another battle to fight in the coming future because I want to make sure I travel solo at least once in this lifetime.

Any road trip experience:

Oh yes, a few years back my friends convinced me to travel by road to Goa. I was so frustrated with the idea of being on road in a car for 12 hours that I prayed all the way to Goa that our driver runs away. And guess what, we reached Goa, went to our rooms to freshen up, and when we came back to our car we noticed our car was missing. The hotel staff came and told us that the driver had gone back to Bombay. We had gone to celebrate new year’s so we had a tough time figuring out a way to come back as all flights were sold out. We eventually struggled and managed to come back by train which was yet another crazy experience.

Dancing, singing or eating – your favorite habit during travel?

If I am traveling it has to be a complete package of all the above. Eating throughout the day and singing/dancing throughout the whole trip is mandatory.
