Travel by plane, car, or boat – What do you like?

I love travelling, in general, be it any mode of transport but the car would be my most preferred ride.

Your most memorable travel was:

I have had some amazing trips with family and friends and travelling has been a constant in my life. And I have distinct memories of each of my trips but one such trip that stirred me and awakened a conservationist and environmentalist in me was my trip to Corbett National Park with my husband. The sheer beauty of nature and wildlife has enthralled me to no end.

Vacation spot you long to go:

I want to explore my country first and then other continents. I want to visit every national park of India. And with my husband, I have a plan of exploring South Africa and the wilderness there.

Your favorite travel buddy:

I have different travel buddies. I love to hang out with my husband and son and explore places. But I have my girl gang too and we have a lot of fun together. My sister-in-law Taru is one of my favourite travel partners.

Styled up or Casual during travel:

Depends on the place. In rough tough places, I prefer being comfortable foremost.

Your top three traveling essentials:

My phone, my wallet, and my handbag which has all my basic essentials

Land, Hills or Beaches – your preferred choice:

Hills, Beaches and the land exactly in that order. I would love to add sand dunes too. I love the slight cold of hill stations and the green magnificent view.

Do you prefer solo travel or with someone else?

I prefer both…I think they are both necessary for sanity. Sometimes one needs to be alone and sometimes surrounded by loved ones.

Any road trip experience:

I have had many road trips. I have clear memories of childhood road trips. My father served as an Air Force Officer which was a transferable job and he ensured we travelled and saw all places around which are cherished memories for me.

Also, sudden unplanned road trips to Goa have been super fun. In 2015 we went to Goa and took all our pets, three dogs and a cat. It was one of the most memorable trips for us. Especially because I took my blind rescued lab to the beach and there was sheer jubilance on his face when we took him to the beach.

Dancing, singing or eating – your favorite habit during travel?

Eating and Dancing. Singing would be the last activity ever, though I love listening to music constantly. I love to explore local cuisines as I explore different places and India is a blessed nation to have such a varied taste palette.
