Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan entertainer, who won the title of Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006. Jacqueline is recognized for her roles in Bollywood movies. She made her debut in Hindi movies with the film Aladin which helped her to gain recognition in the industry. Before being a model, Jacqueline was working as a television reporter in Sri Lanka as she acquired a degree in Mass Communication. She was crowned as Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006 as well as she represented her country at Miss Universe 2006.

Jacqueline Fernandez was on a modeling project in India when she auditioned for the movie Aladin, which denoted her acting presentation. Fernandez had her advancement job with the suspenseful thrill ride Murder 2, her first professional achievement. Later, she went on to achieve success by playing roles in movies like Housefull 2 and the spine chiller Race 2, which earned her an IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination. Fernandez proceeded to star in the film Kick opposite Salman Khan, and the comedies Housefull 3 and Judwaa 2, which were hits at the box office.
