Anushka Sharma is one of the most charming and gorgeous personalities of the Indian film fraternity and she’s currently married to the skipper of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli.
Both Virat and Anushka dated each other for some time before eventually deciding to get married in 2018.
Virat and Anushka’s relationship has so far seen many high’s in the eyes of the public but one of the most striking and shameful things that has happened with Anushka Sharma is the fact that on many occasions earlier in the past when Virat and Team India had a bad day at the office, she has been blamed to be the source of apparent distraction.
Negative trends started online when Anushka accompanied Virat during the Semi-Final match against Australia in the 2015 World Cup where India got knocked out.
And just when we all thought that this nuisance is over, we see netizens target and blame Anushka again for India’s embarrassing 36 all out score against Australia in the first test.
But the bigger question is that for how long will a woman have to suffer from the negative aspects of ‘witch-hunting’ and blame game and that too for something she’s not even a part of? At the end of the day, it’s Virat and his playing XI who are taking guard on the field and not Anushka.
So is it even fair to blame Anushka and shamelessly bring her into the discussion every time Virat and Co. suffer an embarrassing loss?
