When Dia Mirza was crowned Miss Asia Pacific 2000, her career took off. While she had worked as a model and starred in advertising, it was her victory in the beauty contest that caught the attention of Bollywood filmmakers. She has generally worked in romantic films throughout her career, but she has not limited herself to that genre. She has acted in action films, comedy, and suspense films.

We can’t fault her for the lack of diversity in her acting jobs. Good parts for both actors and actresses have been hard to come by in Bollywood. While things appear to be improving now, Mirza’s career began at a period when major parts were uncommon. Dia Mirza’s top five films, out of all the ones she’s worked in, are listed below.

1. Love Breakups Zindagi

A group of people at various phases of life are attempting to locate the one ideal item that they all seek. The characters of Jai (Zayed Khan) and Naina (Dia Mirza) are in distinct relationships. Even though they sense something is missing in their lives, they believe they can make do with a life that isn’t ideal.

2. Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.

This video tells the narrative of six people who take a bus to Goa for a four-day excursion. Every pair is odd in their way, coping with their troubles while trying to fit in. Hitesh’s (Ranvir Shorey) wife, Shilpa, is portrayed by Dia Mirza. There’s an uneasy atmosphere between the newlyweds.

3. Paanch Adhyay

This film, which marked her debut in Bengali cinema, was a critical and economic triumph in Bengal. The film was screened at several film festivals, where its substance and narrative were praised. It chronicles the narrative of Arindam and Ishita, played by Priyanshu Chatterjee and Dia Mirza, respectively.

4. Dus Kahaniyaan

This film is a compilation of ten unrelated tales. Dia Mirza portrayed Sia in the film directed by Sanjay Gupta. Sia lives next door to Manoj Bajpayee’s character, Zahir. Zahir is smitten by Sia and reveals his affections to her in the hopes that she will return his sentiments.

5.Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein

Mirza made her acting debut in the film Reena, in which she played a girl who is tricked by a man named Madhav into believing that he is the one she intended to marry. While the picture was not a box office hit upon its initial release, it has now become a cult favorite among romance cinema fans.
