Vastu, the home of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, has a classic and contemporary aesthetic and is flooded with natural light. Photos taken inside the celebrity home reveal how the actors dedicated their stunning Mumbai apartment to Ranbir’s grandfather Raj Kapoor. The actors, who welcomed their daughter on November 6, decorated the space in black and white with accents of color in the furniture and artwork.
The Reddit user Bolly Blinds N Gossip released inside photographs of Alia and Ranbir’s home. While Alia Bhatt and Ranbir have changed the celebrity home into a cozy home with tonnes of family photos and memorabilia, it initially appears opulent and huge with spectacular hallways and floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows.
A black-and-white collage-style image of Ranbir’s late actor-director grandpa Raj Kapoor stands out in the couple’s study. On one of the walls is a frame that is proudly adorned with a jersey with Ranbir’s favorite number, “8.” On a shelf is also a collection of awards the actors have accumulated over the years.
The rest of the house is immaculate, with plenty of white, black, and brown furnishings, as well as big, well-lit areas. The space is warmed by the abundance of plants and greenery while the white walls and stark white floors contrast sharply. The pair also owns Krishna Raj, a recently refurbished home, in Mumbai.
In April of this year, Alia and Ranbir got married in Vastu. At the private ceremony, the couple’s relatives, including their mothers Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan, and close friends from the Bollywood industry were present. On November 6, Alia made their daughter’s birth public.
