Sophie Turner has long been a muse and admirer of Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière. She’s worn his creations to a variety of occasions, including the Met Gala, the SAG Awards, and her own wedding.
It’s no surprise, then, that the Game of Thrones actress was the first celebrity to be photographed wearing the LV Pont 9 Louis Vuitton purse, which was released earlier this year.
The 25-year-old actress was most recently seen at Salt & Straw in Los Angeles, where she was photographed wearing a black version of the bag with a white T-shirt and grey cycling shorts while having ice cream with her husband Joe Jonas.
The mom-to-be ladylike purse is titled after Paris’s Pont Neuf and features two compartments and the Louis Vuitton Circle, an archive emblem dating back to the 1930s and restored by Ghesquière. Turner was dressed for the occasion in a white babydoll mini dress with balloon sleeves and beautiful ruffling. She paired her polka-dot face mask with a polka-dot Kenzo handbag, accessorizing with gold jewelry and black sunglasses.
Nicolas Ghesquière has introduced the LV Pont 9, a future classic Louis Vuitton bag. Sophie Turner, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, is already a fan of Louis Vuitton’s new ladylike bag.
