Ajith Kumar’s Latest Movie Thunivu Is Real Life Punjab National Bank’s Biggest Heist Of India, Know More!

Reportedly Ajith Kumar's new film Thunivu is a real-life bank heist

Ajith Kumar is marking his comeback with Thunivu, which means courage or gutsy, and is currently the hot topic across social media sites. So all thanks go to Ajith as he announced his 61st movie. The film marked his third film with the same director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor, after working together in Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.

The film is based on facts. The Thunivu is based on a bank heist and massive sets of Mount Road in Chennai with the Your Bank building. And the news has broken out the south director H. Vinoth has written the story inspired by a famous bank robbery in Punjab in 1987.

On 13th February 1987, Khalistan Separatist Harjinder Singh Jinda, along with 12 other and more armed Sikhs dressed as cops, entered Punjab National Bank, Miller Gunj branch in Ludhiana. They robbed around 25 five crores and seventy lakhs which is 4 million dollars. That was a huge amount at that time.

The highlight of this is still the huge heist in Indian history, where none of the people lost their lives. The plan and execution were so perfect that the cops said, “A neat and clean operation.” Though there hasn’t been any official announcement based on this event or either took inspiration from it.

Thunivu is a much-anticipated movie. At the same time, Manju Warrier will be the lead alongside Ajith. The film is wrapping up its final shoots and will be released worldwide next year.
