Despite receiving unfavorable reviews, his new film, ‘Valimai,’ became a box office success and was warmly lauded during its release, despite the fact that it had been delayed for nearly two years due to the unanticipated Covid-19 outbreak. The recent news regarding Ajith’s forthcoming flicks ‘AK61’ and ‘AK62’ has fans thrilled.
Ajith Kumar will once again collaborate with producer Boney Kapoor and director H. Vinoth for ‘AK61,’ and with acclaimed filmmaker Vignesh Shivan for ‘AK62.’ Nayanthara will play the female protagonist in AK62, with comedian Vadivelu in a prominent role. Meanwhile, Anirudh Ravichandar has been roped in as the music director.
According to the most recent reports, star Ajith Kumar has asked for Rs 100 crores for the film. However, Lyca Production is overjoyed with the partnership and has chosen to enhance the actor’s remuneration by another Rs 5 crore, bringing his total salary for the film to Rs 105 crores. Ajith is one of the few performers in Kollywood who have garnered more than Rs 100 crores for a single film.
Following the completion of ‘AK 61,’ Ajith will begin work on ‘AK 62’ at the end of this year. The picture is planned to be released in Summer 2023, and the remainder of the cast and crew will be confirmed in the coming months.
