In a recent interview, Karan Johar said that questions regarding updates come up on his discussion show Koffee with Karan more frequently than questions about his movies. Thanks to the contentious talk show, which returned for a seventh season last week, Karan has developed into one of the top interviewers in the entertainment world over the past 15 years.
He discussed exclusive tips and disclosed how to deal with visitors with diverse personalities in an interview before the show’s start. He was specifically questioned about Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he stated, “I believe in the power of listening and reading the room before moving the interview further. When you suspect a performer is being restrained, you open them up gradually. Alternatively, if an actor is talking too much, you can steer them in a different direction. When two people are present, you divide the discourse to prevent it from concentrating on just one of them. When doing an interview, a lot must occur in your mind.
When asked how he works with actors with such divergent personalities as Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, Karan responded, “You know that Ajay Devgn is an emotional, private, and silent man, but he’ll speak one thing, and it’ll be impactful. So ensure that they gain that capacity and power from the dialogue. It will be a trending line because he speaks one line and that line. He speaks quite well. Akshay makes for a great time. With the visitor sitting next to him, he comes alive. Tina, Akshay’s wife, has been present. Unrest sprang out. It caused a commotion when he was with Ranveer Singh. Also, his encounter with Samantha is another riot, I assure you.
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt were guests on Koffee’s first episode of season 7 with Karan. They talked about their close friendship, their respective partners, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, and their respective relationships. Aamir Khan, Kartik Aaryan, and Varun Dhawan are just a few actors Ranveer has impersonated to amuse audiences. Thursday’s second edition of Koffee with Karan will air. A future episode of Akshay will link him up with Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
