Alba Flores, Star Of Money Heist: Nairobi, Discusses One Thing She’d Change About Her Role, Take A Look

Here's what Alba Flores spoke about the change in the role.

Nairobi was shot in the head by Gandia in the fourth season of La Casa De Papel, which saddened MONEY HEIST followers. Actress Alba Flores has spoken out about the modifications she would make to her role after the heartbreaking moments.

Nairobi’s destiny was uncertain at the start of Money Heist season four because she had been shot by a sniper in the third series of La Casa De Papel. Fortunately, Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) saved her by performing surgery on Nairobi, and she was on her way to recovery. Gandia (Jose Manuel Poga) captured her while she was building up her energy and kept her captive before shooting her in the head.

Her death shocked both viewers and the gang, as many had thought she would reconnect with her son Axel.

Nairobi had made preparations for The Professor (Alvaro Morte) to father another child in the episode she died.

Nairobi’s death, however, put an end to her aspirations to have further children.

When it came to her character, Alba was clear that she wanted to see more of her.

“What I admire about Nairobi is how she understands how to deal with the folks in the bank [the band who printed the money and melted the gold in Seasons one, two, and three],” Alba remarked.

“When and how she grew into her role as a leader on the show.”

“However, I wish she had more self-confidence and more faith in herself.”

“That’s maybe the one thing I felt she really lacked and the one thing I disliked about her.”

“Because if she did, and the heist plot was in her hands, it would’ve been even more effective,” Alba concluded.

“And that, once again, relates to her ability to deal with people and situations.”

Nairobi led the money-making part of the robbery alongside Berlin (Pedro Alonso) during the first heist.

She was given control of melting the gold for the second theft and therefore played a crucial role in both heists.
