Wedding season and saree season are inextricably linked, and there’s no denying it. A traditional floral saree is one saree that will never go out of style. A sheer floral saree is the way to go if you want to keep things simple and lovely this wedding season! Even Janhvi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt opted for a flowery shaadi this season.
Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi’s sartorial choices appear to be flowering and expanding alongside her development as a wonderful young actor. Janhvi wore a Raw Mango suit from the SS 2021 collection, designed by Mohit Rai.
For a look that was both exquisite and modern, a transparent organza all-over rose-patterned saree was matched with a white tank top style cropped shirt. The scalloped neckline of the blouse clung to her shoulder and cascaded down her hand.
Kapoor finished off the look with soft, shining waves, bold eye makeup, pinkish bronze eyeshadow, and a large quantity of rouge. The look was finished with bare lips, a bindi, and a pair of stunning Amrapali Jewellers silver earrings and kadas with a dash of blue for contrast.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt wore a similar ensemble while posing on the sets of her new film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, with co-stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and director Karan Johar.
Alia’s throwback costume also included a rose-adorned lightweight organza saree. The saree was draped loosely over a white strapless top with a scalloped neckline and modest embroidered work. While Janhvi’s saree had flowers all over it, Alia’s drape had roses all over it and dropped into a simple white shape.
The RRR actress completed her look with oxidized traditional jhumkas, a nose ring, and a little black bindi. Her bouncy tresses were parted in the center and left open in lovely waves. Alia went for a natural makeup look with filled-in brows, mascara-laden lashes, delicate blush, and bright pink lipstick like she often does.
