She’s playing the title character Kamala Khan in Disney+ series Ms Marvel and this also marks her on-screen debut. Well, not many people get the fortune to become instantly famous all over the globe with just her debut project. However, Iman’s fortunes had other plans.
So today, let’s get to know more about this new Pakistani sensation who’s winning hearts. She’s become the first Pakistani female ‘superhero’ introduced by Marvel and we are loving her. As per reports in OBP News, Vellani got the news that she was going to star as Kamala Khan, Marvel’s first Muslim superhero. When she heard the news of her headling her own comic, in the new Disney+ show. She was super excited.
Her childhood was spent reading comics and watching Marvel movies and hence, this was a dream come true. She’s a Pakistani who shifted to Canada at the age of just 1 with her family and ever since then, she was exposed to the American pop culture and Hollywood.
