Following his enormous success in the year 2020, Allu Arjun recently appeared in action-thriller production, Pushpa, directed by Sukumar. Sukumar is a well-known Telugu filmmaker who has worked on films such as Rangasthalam, Nannaku Prematho, and Nenokkadine. Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s third collaboration was Pushpa, following Arya and Arya 2. Naveen Yerenini and Y. Ravi Shankar produced this film. It was created on a huge budget of around 150 crores.
Rashmika Mandanna co-stars alongside Allu Arjun in the film, which also features Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, Sunil, Harish Uthaman, and Vennela Kishore. The following are three films that you should watch in order to prepare for Allu Arjun’s performance in Pushpa:
1) Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020)
We can’t think of Allu Arjun movies without thinking of Trivikram’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (AVPL). This film, which also stars Pooja Hegde, was released just in time for Sankranthi in 2020 and was an instant success. It not only made an unforgettable impression on its Telugu audience, but it also looks to have a multilingual following. And Allu Arjun undoubtedly gave his greatest performance too far.
2) Race Gurram (2014)
Race Gurram, directed by Surender Reddy, was another major blockbuster for Allu Arjun in 2014. Shruti Haasan played the female lead. It has been dubbed in Hindi as ‘Lucky the Racer,’ and has been aired several times on various networks. We must see this film to refresh our memory of the Stylish Star at its best.
3) Julayi (2012)
Another film named ‘Julayi’ was directed by Trivikram and superbly performed by Allu Arjun. It’s an action-thriller starring Ileana D’Cruz and Sonu Sood. It was one of Allu Arjun’s best performances in terms of action, dancing (of course!), flair, and acting. It’s worth seeing on any occasion, but it definitely has to be refreshed before we can watch Pushpa
