The actress has around 10 different tattoo lining spans of her back and arms. Here are the 10 tattoos and their meaning as per a Koimoi report!

1) Bengal tattoo:
The actress got this tattoo in 2004 by the tattoo artist Sompng Kanphai, to celebrate her Cambodian citizenship. The Bengal Tiger tattoo is 12 inches long and 8 inches wide placed on her lower back. It is done in a traditional Thai style with a manual needle.

2) Back Tattoos:
The middle of her back has 3 different designs. The first one portrays 4 continents, along with the second one a classical elements tattoo representing water, fire, air, and earth (it’s the largest one in place in the middle). The third one is a Buddhist temple design.

3) Know your rights tattoo:
She places this on her upper back, on the base of her neck. It’s a song by the actress’ favorite band, The Clash.

4) Coordinates:
This tattoo has the most significance for her. It’s on her left arm and it had the coordinates of the places where all her 6 kids were born. She even had Brad Pitts’s birthplace, Oklahoma’s coordinates but she got those off a while ago.

5) Arabic script:
This tattoo of hers means determination. This tattoo covers a custom abstract lines tattoo that Billy Bob Thornton created when the two were married.

6) Buddhist Pali Script:
This protection tattoo is dedicated to her eldest, Maddox. As per a Koimoi report, it translates to “May your enemies run far away from you. If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always. Your beauty will be that of an Aspara. Wherever you may go, many will attend, serve and protect you, surrounding you.”

7) Cross Tattoo:
She got this tattoo a day before marrying Johny Lee Miller in 1995. The cross hid a little dragon with a blue tongue on her hip. The Latin phrase, “Quod me nutrut me destruit” which translates to “what nourishes me, destroys me” is inked nest to the cross.

8) XII V MCMXL:
This text is on her left forearm and translates to the date, 13/05/1940 which is the date Winston Churchill delivered a speech. One of the prominent lines of the speech is “I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat.”

9) Tennessee Williams Tattoo:
She has the words, “A prayer for the wild at heart kept in cages” inked inside her left elbow. The words are the subtitle to Tenessee Williams’ 1941 play, Stairs to the roof.

10) The Letter H:
It is styled like a rune on her writing. What the letter stands for is not yet clear.
