Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most prominent names in the Indian film industry. He had definitely done quite a lot for cinema. It was on the sets of Guddi where he met his wife Jaya Bhaduri. It’s been 48 years since Amitabh Bachchan tied the knot with Jaya Bhaduri! The actor quite often ends up talking about her in a way that has many going awe! Check it out!
1) In 1998, while talking to Simi Garewal, Amitabh confessed that he tied the knot with Jaya because she had all of the qualities that he has ever wanted in a wife. He also added that Jaya is really comfortable showing love and affection.
2) Big B has spoken of Jaya quite a bit at Kaun Banega Crorepati. In one episode, he said that “I feel women have a sixth sense and they can better identify a person’s hidden motives.” Saying that Jaya can always find out people with bad intentions.
3) In a different episode, the actor says that he still writes love letters to Jaya. He spoke about the bond he and his wife share.
4) He once admitted that his wife’s number is saved as JBS on his phone.
5) Amitabh even mentioned in his blogs while talking about married life with Jaya and how he was grateful for having found Jaya. He went on to say “You see a picture, you work together, you spend time, you decide, you marry … you have children, you have grandchildren, and you realize that there are not many that are blessed so … so you thank the Almighty, the times of the day and the unknown force that brings all this together.”
