It all started in 2019 on the sets of Uri: The Surgical Strike when Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar met. The actor married the filmmaker in a private ceremony after falling in love.

As she shared the news with the world, Yami took to Instagram to share photographs of the pair looking their happiest.

Yami Gautam’s classic red bridal outfit, which belonged to her mother, was the centre of attention! The traditional silk saree, which was 33 years old, has delicate gold embroidery all over it. While the saree was simple, it went nicely with her blouse, which was adorned with flower designs in the same gold embroidery. She completed her ensemble with a matching crimson dupatta, which was a gift from her maternal grandmother.

Yami’s hereditary jewellery, which included a regal gold choker set, maang tikka, and kalire – all of which were embellished with cowries and coconut, gave full credit to her bridal gown. As part of her accessories, the Vicky Donor star wore a traditional Pahaadi – Himachali Nath, which was also given to her by her grandma.

Yami, who is known for her modest glam looks, made sure her bridal outfit followed suit. The actress kept her look simple and applied her makeup for the occasion! Yami, who has several films under her belt, chose to highlight her features with subtle kohl-lined eyes, vivid red lips that matched her wedding gown, and just a hint of blush on her cheeks for a classic bridal glow. Surilie Gautam, her sister, did her hair for the occasion.

On her wedding day, it’s easy to say that Yami looked stunning. We adore how the diva kept it simple yet stunning by not going overboard.
