As known, she and her husband, cricketer KL Rahul, are expecting their first child in 2025. The couple got married in January 2023 and recently announced the pregnancy in a joint social media post on November 8.
And now, in her New Year post, Athiya shared one photo and a video. In one, she posed with KL Rahul, and in another, she walked hand-in-hand with him, her baby bump visible. She captioned the post, “2025, looking forward to you,” accompanied by a baby emoji.
The actor has been in Australia for over a month, supporting KL Rahul and the Indian cricket team during the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Recently, she was seen leaving Melbourne Cricket Ground with Anushka Sharma after a match. That marked the first public sighting of Athiya’s baby bump. Mutyalu Reddy, father of cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy, was also present.
