Diaz and Timberlake are said to have met for the first time at the 2003 Kids Choice Awards when the Charlie’s Angels actress presented the former NSYNC frontman with the trophy for “Best Burp,” which she had won just two years before. Timberlake’s association with his future wife is also said to have come between him and Diaz. In January 2007, he and Cam announced their split a week later.
Michael Sheen and Rachel McAdams
They met on the set of Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris and confirmed their romance during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on the red carpet. Before their breakup in 2013, the couple had never gone more than a year without seeing one other. “Michael and I seldom spend more than three weeks apart — we accumulate a lot of airline miles — but in this business, whether you’re in a relationship or not, you have to be reasonably adaptable,” the actress said.
Penelope Cruz and Tom Cruise
Despite meeting on the set of Vanilla Sky when Cruise was married, the couple’s affair was not made public until August 2001, when Captain Corelli’s Mandolin aired. The two split up in 2004. “I’ve never been in a romantic relationship with one of my coworkers. It’s always occurred after the fact. If anything starts as a friendship, it may grow into something more months later, but you never know.” She stated, according to The Telegraph. “It’s always a mystery. You can’t prepare for something like that.”
Brad Pitt and Christina Applegate
We can’t let you forget about the affair, even if it was just for a short time. They met, according to Applegate, when Pitt and Jason Priestly came over for barbecues at her tiny apartment. She took a smoking 26-year-old Pitt as her date to the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards, only to dump him halfway through the night. Sebastian Bach of Gilmore Girls came forward to declare it was him, even though she has never disclosed who the mysterious man was.
